Brooklyn's no more nappies party!

Last night we had a special occasion in our house! if you are a parent you will appreciate the day your child no longer needs nappies! So i decided this great achievement deserved a little party!  Brooklyn got to choose what was for tea and we made a few little decos to make the dinner a little bit special!  Both boys loved it and were sitting at the table waiting way before they had to!!

I spent last weekend  at my sister- in- laws and she has pots full of succulents, such a great variety. So i bought a whole bunch home with me! Grow lil ones grow!

Ben & Taryn engagement party!!!!!!

Wowwee what a fun weekend! It was my best friends engagement party at Mini Street studios.  Was such an amazing venue, a great backdrop for a fun party!  We provided the personalised initials of the couples name and a navy paper heart, and a tissue tassel garland.  The couple are very creative themselves, so they added their own personal touches to make one heck of a stylish affair! check it out......

Colour combo~ cherry and lavender

I have a love hate relationship with purple! can't say i like to wear purple or have it in my house but when you see it styled in this way, I think it really looks amazing! Pop some hydrangeas in a bowl alongside some strawberries and the colours will make any table pop!

A Shabby Chic First Birthday Party

Thought i would share a very cute first birthday party i came across.  It has some lovely details, from the vintage fabric embroidery hoops, cluster of mini cakes, simple white roses tucked in old milk bottles and the lights strung across the room. Everything about this party is pretty and feminine!
